Marketing was never a static field, customer expectations in digital advertising are increasing and today we must learn that conventional models are disappearing and there are new tools to use and take advantage of, brands must embrace new technologies to not succumb to the competition.
Artificial intelligence has completely transformed the way marketers and customer service professionals communicate with and study consumers. I would like to talk about our biggest provider of information:
Smart devices, they learn from our behaviors day by day, why you decided to swipe down or stop on
certain parts of your screen, what are your favorite words each week and what are your next vacation
plans. Like it or not, advertising companies have taken this information and turned it into one of the pillars of online marketing today: THE DATA, although data has always been there for advertising (in more classic ways), now it is at a much higher level, more accessible, detailed and now we can interpret them in a more efficient way for use.
These terms are included under that name surrounded by stigmas and bad fame, “artificial intelligence” is one of the most valuable tools in the field of digital marketing today, it came to stay and is expanding to fields such as the economy, politics and education, is escalating to have a major impact on society and global trends. Some specialists affirm that in a couple of years the communication between a client and a brand will be 100% provided by artificial intelligence (chatbots), this means that some traditional administrative tasks will remain in the past, this instead of scaring us should inspire us to take these tools and find a way to implement them in our strategies at the beginning of our campaigns.
The world of digital advertising moved away from its traditional model to a digital one and today it is
evolving by leaps and bounds, automated protocols will be more and more involved in the requirements of our clients, something more accurate and precise… results created by statistics and not so much by sensations or heart hints. It seems sad, but we must face the new challenges with our heads held high and embrace all the help that technology is giving us, even if it seems too difficult, we just have to find the point where everything combines (classic development and new technology) to create more effective marketing.
